These terms describe the use of CheckImageDPI, including free local tools, hosted API operations and optional paid analysis. Review the applicable tool information before use. New payments and subscriptions are currently unavailable; the purchase rules below describe the planned credit offering and do not constitute an active checkout. Updated September 17, 2026.
Use and responsibility
Use files you are authorized to process and share. Do not use the service to access another user’s data, misuse credentials, bypass limits or interfere with the service. Keep an original copy of important files and verify any output before relying on it or replacing an original.
An account is not required for the free local tools. Account-based services require a supported sign-in method and appropriate access. You are responsible for protecting your account and API credentials and for promptly revoking a key you believe is compromised.
What results can establish
DPI and print calculations describe metadata or mathematical relationships, not a guarantee of photographic quality. Resizing and conversion can change pixels or appearance. Metadata clean-up can affect functional fields and provenance, and does not guarantee anonymity.
AI reports distinguish source records, validation and model predictions. A completed model result can be inconclusive. Missing signals, low scores and unsuccessful requests do not establish that an image is human-made. Do not use a single report as the sole basis for an accusation or a high-impact decision.
Prices, subscription periods and credits
The Pricing page displays the planned price, currency, billing interval, credit allocation and any discount. New purchases remain unavailable until the PayPal payment flow is enabled. Yearly plans are charged for the displayed year and issue credits each month; the monthly equivalent is explanatory, not a promise of monthly cash billing. One-time credit purchases do not create a subscription or automatic recharge.
Subscription credits expire at the end of their monthly allocation period and do not roll over. One-time purchased credits expire after 12 months. Gift credits expire after seven days. The service uses the earliest-expiring available batch first. Registration and daily gifts are subject to the displayed eligibility and abuse-prevention rules and have no cash refund value.
Successful work, reservations and failures
Before a paid web analysis becomes available, the service must show its scope and credit cost. New credit purchasing is currently unavailable. It can reserve credits while the work is running, settle completed work and release a reservation for a technical failure. An analysis that completed but returned an inconclusive finding may still be a chargeable result; this differs from a failure to produce a usable response.
Only new CommFor AI analysis is available through the hosted operation API, at 1 credit per completed item. Other image operations run in the browser for free. Polling and retries of the same idempotent operation are not new purchases. A free check does not automatically become paid because it is rate-limited or cannot determine an answer.
Payment confirmation, renewal and cancellation
A return page from checkout is not payment confirmation. Credits are delivered after the service verifies the provider’s payment status, including its authenticated webhook and reconciliation flow. If payment is pending, wait for the confirmed account balance rather than submitting the same task repeatedly.
New subscription changes are currently unavailable. When billing is enabled, manage the supported subscription actions through Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal according to the effective date shown there; it does not by itself issue a cash refund. Review the next billing date before confirming a change. A payment failure or dispute can affect paid access and the availability of related credits.
Refunds and unused purchased credits
Within 14 days of a purchase, you may request a refund for eligible unused purchased credits. A partial refund is based on the unconsumed portion of the relevant purchase, not the face value of promotional or unrelated credits. Credits involved in a pending request can be frozen until the payment provider confirms its outcome.
Use Billing where a self-service refund is available, or contact support for subscription, disputed, partially consumed or otherwise unsupported cases. Explain the order involved without sending a card number. Nothing in this policy excludes mandatory statutory rights, which take precedence where applicable. A failed-operation credit release is not the same event as a cash refund.
Limits, retention and service changes
Published size, format, request and concurrency limits protect the service and may vary by operation. Online tasks and reports have stated expiration periods; download important outputs while they remain available. Do not use temporary task storage as your only archive.
External identity, payment and AI services can be unavailable. An unavailable integration should not pretend to have completed its action. We may correct defects or change service offerings, keeping the information relevant to future purchases clear. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or detection of every generator or editing method.
