Privacy at CheckImageDPI

CheckImageDPI is designed to inspect images in your browser. Image bytes, filename, embedded metadata such as Exif, and request body are not uploaded for image processing.

What happens in your browser

Accepted files are read and processed locally by the browser application. To carry your image from the checker to the result, converter, and download pages, the current source and output are kept in this browser's local IndexedDB storage. A per-tab reference is kept in session storage; neither the reference nor image details are placed in the URL.

Replacing or clearing an image removes the current local workspace. Unused workspace records expire after 24 hours and are cleaned up when the workflow opens again. Image bytes, filenames, and metadata are not uploaded by these tools. We do not use advertising cookies, account profiles, or an image-upload account.

Operational and security data

If the site sends an anonymous, closed operational event, it may use a same-origin POST. Cloudflare may process IP address, network and TLS information at the edge and may create security or operational logs. We therefore do not promise zero data.

Third parties

The site does not sell image content or use it for advertising. Technical dependencies and notices are listed on the third-party licenses page.
