A little clarity for every image

Disclaimer

Understand the limits of image measurements, metadata, source verification and AI model scores when using CheckImageDPI tools.

CheckImageDPI provides calculations, file processing and image-source reports to help you inspect a specific file. Results need to be interpreted with their inputs, execution state and limitations.

Resolution and output quality

A DPI label is not a quality certificate. Effective PPI depends on pixel dimensions and actual physical placement. Re-encoding, resizing, cropping or metadata changes can alter a file’s appearance or behaviour. Keep an original and inspect the downloaded output in its intended use.

AI source checks and model predictions

Provenance statements, signature validation and model predictions are distinct forms of evidence. A missing signal does not prove a camera origin. A low or high model score is not a conclusive judgment about a person, author or image history. Not calculated and unavailable are execution states, not zero-probability findings.

The site cannot identify every generator, recover every stripped credential or establish every editing step. For an important decision, corroborate the report with original sources and a documented review.

Privacy and third-party independence

Removing metadata does not remove information visible in the image or copies already shared. Online processing is subject to the disclosed provider data flow. CheckImageDPI is independent of the third-party brands named in its documentation and does not imply their endorsement.
