CheckImageDPI is an independent image utility project maintained by Carl AI Lab. It helps you make specific decisions about resolution, dimensions, metadata and image-source evidence.
One question at a time
A DPI label cannot answer every image-quality question. This site separates density editing, print calculations, resizing, metadata inspection and AI source checks so the result explains the task you actually performed.
The local web tools are free to use without an account. An account supports private jobs, API access and paid model-analysis credits. Hosted API processing and optional paid AI analysis have their own pricing and data-flow information.
Methods you can inspect
Unit calculations state their formula, PPI assumption and rounding. Image outputs should be checked after encoding rather than assumed correct from a setting. Source reports distinguish stored claims, validation status and model predictions. Guides cite technical standards and official documentation where applicable.
An example calculation is not a measurement of your image. A small provider integration test is not an accuracy benchmark. We keep those distinctions in the guides and result explanations.
Independent tools and third-party services
CheckImageDPI is not operated by OpenAI, Adobe, Google or Hive. Their names identify formats, documented features or services used by an applicable workflow. A linked source or service integration does not imply endorsement.
Corrections and support
For a reproducible bug, a source correction or a privacy question, contact support@checkimagedpi.com. Include the relevant tool, approximate time and request ID where available. Do not send API secrets or sensitive originals in an ordinary support message.
